Adventure River Tubing

Activity	Descend a clear mountain stream on your specially designed river tube. Navigate white water and rapids.
Duration	Approx 2 ½ hours (with 1 ½ - 2 hours actual tubing time)
Price	£49 per person
Age	Minimum age 13 years. Under 18’s do not need to be accompanied on the session just for dropping off and picking up.
Minimum Participants	2 people
Maximum Participants	15 people
Equipment provided	Wetsuit, booties, buoyancy aid, helmet, river tube, neoprene flippers
Safety note	No previous experience required. Non swimmers are welcome, but poor swimming ability and any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed to the instructor before the start of the session.
Participants to take	Swimsuit for under the wetsuit, large towel and dry clothes for afterwards.
Toilet Facilities	Rothiemurchus Centre.
Meeting Point	M2 Triangle Car Park, then follow instructor to start point in own vehicle
Finishing Point	Dependant on water levels
Cancellation Policy	If you need to change your booking or cancel, we do require 24 hours notice in order for you to receive a full refund.

Experienced Hack

Activity	1 1/2 hour hack, across interesting and varied terrain, with little or no roads.
Experience	Competant at walk, rising trot and canter in open spaces. Riders must ride regularly, and have cantered out in the last year, riders will be assessed prior to the ride. If deemed not experienced enough, you will not be permitted to continue on this ride. Please note that if you are an experienced 'western' style rider ONLY, this is not a suitable ride.

Feed the deer

Activity	Join a Ranger to feed our Estate deer in our farm, and learn more about the Red deer
Duration	Aprrox 1 hour
Price	£8 adults, £4 children

Meeting Point	M2 Triangle car park - 10 mins prior to session. Participants then follow the Ranger in their own cars up to the deer farm

Ponies - Beginners ride

Participants	Wear suitable outdoor clothing & sturdy shoes with a small heel. Rothiemurchus supply protective headgear
Route	Quiet trail through fields and pinewood, opportunities to see wildlife. No roads
Instruction	Basic given
Meeting Point	M10 Stables, park at M2 Triangle Car Park then follow red horseshoes to the stables - 10 min prior to session

Quad Trekking

Activity	Led by a fully experienced guide, your quad trek will take you along a stunning network of tracks around the Estate. Full instruction given with practice

Rothiemurchus by Horseback

Participants	Wear suitable outdoor clothing & sturdy shoes with a small heel. Rothiemurchus supply protective headgear
Route	Ideal way to see rothiemurchus from a different view! Learn about the 'Highland' pony as a breed, its uses and the characters at the stables. Scenic trail across wild ground, interesting terrain, and hills. Small amount of road work.

Activity	Fascinating experience looking into the history, people and work of Rothiemurchus, guided by a friendly Ranger.

Silver Shooting Experience

Activity	Set in breathtaking scenery, with one of the best clay shooting facilties in the UK, our Silver Experience is ideal for complete beginners, children and ladies, with up to 25 shots included.
Duration	Up to 1 1/4 hours
Price	£39 per person
Minimum age	Approx. 12 years (although it is the actual size of the child, please if you would like to check if smaller children can hold the gun before booking then come and see us at the Shooting Ground). With under 18's accompanied by an adult
Session max	4 people
Equipment provided	Gun, cartridges, clays targets (up to 25 shots), protective eyewear & hearing protection with safety instruction
Participants	Wear outdoor clothing
Meeting place	M3 Rothiemurchus Shooting Ground - 10 mins prior to session.

Tennis

Activity	Rothiemurchus tennis courts for hire
Duration	1 hour sessions
Price	£8 per court
Age	Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult
Session max	4 per court, max 3 courts
Equipment provided	Used balls can be purchased for 50p each. Coach can be contacted if required on 07825 642 335 Alan Lane. Outside toilet provided through the summer
Participants to take	Suitable clothes for playing tennis, dedicated sports shoes - please do not wear ‘outdoor’ shoes on the courts
Meeting Point	M1 Rothiemurchus Centre – 10 minutes prior to session, to collect key, a refundable deposit of £10 is required for the key.

TreeZone

Activity	Fun and challenging forest aerial adventure course.
Duration	Usually about 1 - 1.5 hours. Price: £19 per under 16. £26 per adult.
Age	Min age 7 years
Height	Min height 1.1m. Participants under 1.3m get 2 laps of TreeCreeper course, those over 1.3m get one lap of the TreeCreeper followed by one lap of the Buzzard. Under 12s must have an accompanying adult on site.

Equipment provided	All safety equipment including a full body harness.
Participants to take	Suitable clothes for the weather in comfortable and practical clothing, securely fastened shoes that may get a little grubby.
