Experienced Hack

Activity	1 1/2 hour hack, across interesting and varied terrain, with little or no roads.
Experience	Competant at walk, rising trot and canter in open spaces. Riders must ride regularly, and have cantered out in the last year, riders will be assessed prior to the ride. If deemed not experienced enough, you will not be permitted to continue on this ride. Please note that if you are an experienced 'western' style rider ONLY, this is not a suitable ride.
Wear suitable outdoor clothing, and sturdy shoes with a small heel. Protective head wear provided.Meeting point	M10 Stable, park at M2 triangle car park, follow red horse shoes - 10 mins prior to session

Family Rafting

Activity	Enjoy splashing about on the river with your family or friends. Scenic gentle section of the River Spey, right here on Rothiemurchus Estate.
Duration	Approx 3 hours
Price	£45 per person
Age	6yrs. Under 18yrs do not need to be accompanied, but a parent or guardian must accompany them at the begining, and collect at the end

Equipment provided	Waterproofs, buoyancy aid and helmet
Safety note	No previous experience required. Non swimmers are welcome, but poor swimming ability and any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed to the instructor before the start of the session.
Participants to take	Swimming costume, or similar to wear under wetsuit, shoes, (that will get wet), large towel
Raft type	Inflatable river raft with expert guide in each raft
Meeting Point	Doune Farm Courtyard
Finishing Point	Approx 5km down river the drivers will then go back to get their cars, whilst the other participants are changing

Gold Shooting Experience

Activity	Set in breathtaking scenery, the best clay shooting facilities in the UK.
Duration	Up to 2 hours
Price	£55 per person
Age	12 years, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult

Equipment	Gun, cartridges, clays, protective eye wear and hearing protection with safety instruction. You may bring your own equipment
Participants	Outdoor clothing should be worn
Meeting point	M3 Rothiemurchus Shooting Ground - 10 mins prior to session.
Experience	we would normally recommend our SILVER experience for beginners, ladies and children. If you have previous experience and fancy learning more then go for the Gold experience.

Novice fly fishing

Activity	Expert instruction and tuition available for fly fishing, whatever your level of experience
Duration	1 hour one-on-one instruction, followed by one hours fishing

Route	Quiet trail through fields and pinewood, opportunities to see wildlife. No roads

Ponies - Intermediate 1 hour Trek

Participants	Wear suitable outdoor clothing & sturdy shoes with a small heel Rothiemurchus supply protective headgear
Route	Interesting and varied - little or no roads
Experience	Must be capable at walk and rising trot over reasonable distances, in open spaces. Riders must have had riding lessons.

Private shooting lesson

Quad Trekking

Activity	Led by a fully experienced guide, your quad trek will take you along a stunning network of tracks around the Estate. Full instruction given with practice

Rafting - Fun river rapids

Activity	Fun Rapids Rafting Trip, Grade 2 White water. This is a half day trip suitable for ages 10 and above and is an excellent first rafting trip for all the family
Duration	Approx 3 1/2 hours
Price	£55 per adult, £45 under 16’s
Age	Minimum age 10yrs, under 18’s do not need to be accompanied on the session just for dropping off and picking up

Equipment provided	Wetsuits, buoyancy aid and helmet
Safety note	No previous experience required. Non swimmers are welcome, but poor swimming ability and any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed to the instructor before the start of the session
Participants to take	Swimsuits or change of clothes to wear under the wetsuit (will get wet), shoes, (that will also get wet), large towel for changing behind dry clothes and shoes for afterwards
Meeting Point	M5 - Rothiemurchus Fishery. You will then need to follow the instructor in your own transport for 40 minutes to the start of the rafting

Rothiemurchus by Horseback

Participants	Wear suitable outdoor clothing & sturdy shoes with a small heel. Rothiemurchus supply protective headgear
Route	Ideal way to see rothiemurchus from a different view! Learn about the 'Highland' pony as a breed, its uses and the characters at the stables. Scenic trail across wild ground, interesting terrain, and hills. Small amount of road work.

Activity	Set in breathtaking scenery, with one of the best clay shooting facilties in the UK, our Silver Experience is ideal for complete beginners, children and ladies, with up to 25 shots included.

Tennis

Activity	Rothiemurchus tennis courts for hire
Duration	1 hour sessions
Price	£8 per court
Age	Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult
Session max	4 per court, max 3 courts
Equipment provided	Used balls can be purchased for 50p each. Coach can be contacted if required on 07825 642 335 Alan Lane. Outside toilet provided through the summer
Participants to take	Suitable clothes for playing tennis, dedicated sports shoes - please do not wear ‘outdoor’ shoes on the courts
Meeting Point	M1 Rothiemurchus Centre – 10 minutes prior to session, to collect key, a refundable deposit of £10 is required for the key.

TreeZone

Activity	Forest aerial adventure which provides a fun and exciting challenge for everyone. On successful completion of the introductory Tree Creeper course you will be ready to tackle the more challenging Buzzard course, which culminates in a thrilling 100m zip slide
Duration	Around 1 ½ to 2 hours Price: Adults £25, U16’s £18
Age	Min age 7 years (9 year’s and under must be accompanied by a participating adult (max 2 children per adult). 10-12 years must have an accompanying adult on site. Under 10’s will complete the Tree Creeper circuit twice instead of moving on to the Buzzard course.
Session min	1 people and Session max: 12 people
Equipment provided	All safety equipment including a full body harness
Participants to take	Suitable clothes for the weather in comfortable and practical clothing, securely fastened shoes that may get a little grubby. No skirts, high heels or flip-flops!
Experience Required	None necessary, just a basic level of fitness, reasonable mobility
